Alone, Brilliant and Spoiled
Starts with a Older man and the Woman he was with finding out there is a baby on the way. Husband adores his daughter, but becomes Back overly involved with his multiple business that there is no time for the child. She grows up alone basically and is quite Brilliant, but Spoiled.
Reader learns to like the Daughter, then Dislike her for the things she does. In the end liking the daughter for her changes and her Work.
