Get it Off Your Chest!

Do you have a story to tell, but don’t want to go through the rigmarole of getting it published?

Why not send it to Megan Publishing Services? We can publish it here and then compile the best of them into an anthology every now and again.

We are looking for personal stories that fall into two main categories:
1] ‘Get it Off Your Chest!’ which is where you get the chance to tell your story. The only restriction is one of libel. I cannot print stories that would render me liable to prosecution.
2] “Soldiers’ Tales, which is an opportunity for soldiers from any of the armed forces to tell their stories.

I am a professional writer and I know how hard it is to get a story published via the traditional route, so I hope that you will find this web site useful for telling your tale.

There is no restriction on the length of your article for inclusion in either of the categories mentioned above, but I suggest that a good article for ‘Get it Off Your Chest!’ or ‘Soldiers’ Tales’,  should be at least 500 words long. You could consider a maximum of 3,000 words too, but if your story is longer, then, size is really not a problem.

If you are worried about editing, don’t be. If you can’t get a friend to edit your story, just send it to me and I will do it free of charge. I want to give everyone the chance to tell their story.

When I have enough stories to make a book of say, 50,000 words, I will contact people and ask their permission to publish their stories. If you don’t want to grant it, all well and good. No hard feelings and your story can remain on my web site regardless.

If, however, you would like me to publish your story with a number of others, then I will proceed and keep you informed of how the book sales are going, so send your stories to ‘Get it Off Your Chest!’ or ‘Soldiers’ Tales’ now.

Please send your story using this form on the Blog Header:
