AKA simply Owen Jones

Owen Ceri Jones’ is a Welsh author who only uses part of his name when writing. In some ways, that jas turned out to be a mistake, because there is a more well-known writer whose name is also Owen Jones. Megan Publishing Services handle all his books.

They are frequently confused although they look nothing alike. In fact, Owen Ceri Jones is probably 30 years older than the other one.

Fate Twister

One of Owen Ceri Jones’ novels, Fate Twister, has been translated into numerous languages. For example, in Spanish, it is known as Cambiar el Destino, and in Portuguese as Capricho do Destino. However, all the book covers look the same so that the novel is instantly recognisable throughout the world.

Daddy’s Hobby

He has also written a series of books called Behind The Smile based on fictitious characters in a fictitious bar called Daddy’s Hobby, which is full of pattaya beach road girls.

People refer to the first volume as the Behind The Smile book, but this is a misnomer.

The Disallowed

Another book he has written is called The Disallowed. It is Owen (Ceri) Jones’ only genuine attempt at a comedy novel, but it is probably better described as humorous, since his sense of humour is very dry. Nevertheless, people call it ‘the funny vampire book’.

If you are a real reader, look out for novels by Owen Jones, because one day, you will be wishing that you had read him earlier.

British Library

In fact, Owen Ceri Jones has been writing for fifty years, but the first things that he published were websites. 146 of them to be exact. However, he took them down in 2013 because he couldn’t keep them up-to-date and write novels.

So, in 2013, he took to writing novels seriously. By the end of 2013, he had published six novels. Now, ten years later, that has become 1,250. Incredible, I hear you think. Impossible. Bull… Nevertheless, you can go to the British Library online and check for yourself ☺️

Chalita took over from Owen Jones as the owner of this blog, because Mr. Jones wanted to devote more time to writing, while Chalita wanted to get into blogging and help readers and writers to follow their passion for books.

'If I cannot help directly, I know that I can always call on Owen', she says. 'Owen has vast experience in reading and writing books, and has more than a thousand books registered in his name at the British Library'.
The dog, Angun, which means Grape or Grapes in Thai, was an eighteenth birthday present from a friend. She was a lovely dog in every way imaginable, but was killed shortly after giving birth to and raising her first brood of puppies. She is sadly missed, and hasn't been replaced.
'A new dog just wouldn't be the same', she said sadly.
Anyway, times have changed, and Chalita now has a demanding job in Bangkok.
'I will be devoting as much time as I can to running the blog though', she said earnestly. 'And, if I see that people like my style of blogging, then I will rearrange my life a little in order to devote more time to it. I love reading and interacting with people anyway, so that wouldn't be a hardship. I suppose that I have to wait for the older visitors to get used to my style, and to try to attract new people who will come here for me.

In the meantime, the format of Megan Publishing Services will remain roughly what it is now - a resource for readers and writers and a showcase for the books of Welsh writer Owen Jones.
Owen Jones has written fifty-odd novels in various genres mostly set in Wales, Spain and Thailand (the three countries where he spends most of his time). Similarly, many of his books have an element of the supernatural or paranormal, but not all of them, since he has a 700,000-word fictional biography, a spy thriller and military drama. Mr. Jones is strong on series. He only has a couple of stand-alone novels.
