Who knows the Outcome?

I have been on several holidays that could be considered of the highest variety of Romantic Holidays. I am talking about holidays such as cruises, and hiking tours when it’s warm enough for you to be able to sleep outside the tent under the stars.

Romantic Holidays in Thailand

However, the most romantic holiday I have ever undertaken was the one when I met my wife. A friend of mine, who went to Thailand often invited me to meet him out there. I took him up on his offer, and booked flights and a room for a month.

I met a woman, a friend of my friend’s girlfriend during the third hour of my arrival in Pattaya on the very first evening. We were inseparable for that month, and stayed together for the entire holiday. She even took me to her home village for a few nights to meet her family and friends.

When my holiday was over, I went home very reluctantly, but returned within a month.

Married in my Fifties

A few years later, we got married, and, 21 years further on, we are still together living in her family village.

I was 49 and had never been married when I met my future wife.

It just goes to show that you never know who or what is waiting for you on your next romantic holiday.
